Stellars Sea Eagle...length 85-105cm ...wing 220-245cm, 221-244cm ...weight 6.8-9kg World's Biggest Eagle, one of two eagles that rivals the harpy eagle in weight...but, like other fish eagles, the talons and feet r weaker and smaller than booted eagles, such as the golden eagle Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagleonce believed to posses the longest wingspan of all eagles, current data suggest about the same wingspan as other large eagles, length mainly due to long diamond-shaped tail, surprisngly lightweight for its size, very lanky...one of the longest wingspans, avg 2.3m in the past, records of up to 2.79, 2.84cm, even 3.35m Berkut Golden Eagleavg 6.5kg, record 12kg+ 76-102cm (NA subspecies) wing 2.1m, record 2.8m, 203-224cm (NA SUBSPECIES) one of the heaviest eagles, record up to 12kg wild specimen (unlike harpy's record captive)...also longest recorded wingspan at up to 2.8m Bald Eagle79-94cm wing 178-229cm avg 5.2kg, up to 6.3kg very large eagle, wingspan somehow not as impressive, while weaker talons compared to golden eagles Harpy Eagle89-102cm wing approx 2m 7.2-7.7kg, up to 9kg World's most powerful eagle Philippine Eagle90-100cm approx 2m wing weight NO RELIABLE DATA, probably max 8kg Often clamied as the largest eagle but the bulk of its "size" (like the wedge-tailed eagle) actually derived from its long legs, giving a false impression of great size...the talons and claws r not the most powerful, but the beak is 2nd only to the stellars sea eagle among the eagles... Crowned Eagle with Ververt Monkey prey Hugh Chittenden African Crowned Eagle81-90cm wing NO DATA Africa's most powerful eagle, however it is very lightweight...avg only 4kg+ for females...probably the 3rd most powerful eagle White -tailed sea eaglebulky stout eagle.. 70-92cm, 66-89cm wing up to 2.4m, 2-2.45m, 183-239cm weight avg 5.5kg. 5.1kg, up to 7.5kg, range 3.1-7kg, 3.6-6.5kg African Martial Eagle76-83cm wing 2.1m avg 5.1kg, up to 6.2kg Africa's largest eagle, however not as large as other eagles above...very powerful and attacks big prey for its size...the talons and legs r slim and long, a specialization for hunting birds, which r its main prey..rather short tail, like the eurasian sea eagle...used to be classified in a genus of its own (polemaetus) but changed to Hieeratus (hawk-eagles), and recently some scientist placed it with the Aquila (booted eagles)... Verreaux's Eaglea very striking jet-black eagle, not as big as most big eagles 72-90cm wing 2.1m weight avg 5kg, up to 5.8kg

The Great Philippine EagleJust Look at those huge talonsHarpy eagle Often dubbed as the most powerful eagle (Theoretically) because of it's thick legs and longest Hind talons But I Doub and I think this has to be proved objectively. Harpy is a sloth eater 80 % of it's diet (Sloth-eating eagle) Basically it feeds on tree dwelling animals like birds, small monkeys and sloth the Largest prey it takes was a 17 lb Two-toed sloth and a 15 lb howler monkeys. Philippine Eagle 98-112 cm long 102 cm on average, weighs up to 18 lb. It feeds on monkeys, civets, flying lemurs, large birds, giant cloud rat, reptiles such as large snakes and monitor lizards, small dogs and pigs. with the Largest wing-surface area among all the eagle specie capable of more powerful lift than any other eagle. Philippine eagle's Largest prey on record: a 30 lb Cervus deer found on it's nest in 1985, carrying a mature female macaque in one leg and attacks a large python a feat you can never find to Harpy eagle. Here are lists of the top five eagles going on weight, length and, lastly, wingspan. Unless otherwise noted via reference, the figures listed are the median reported for each measurement in the guide Raptors of the World (Ferguson-Lees, et al.), in which only measurements that could be personally verified by the authors were listed. Data ComparisonSource: Ferguson-Lees, J.; Christie, D. (2001). Raptors of the World. London: Christopher Helm. ISBN 0-7136-8026-1. They could be measured variously in total length, body mass or wingspan. Different lifestyle needs among various eagles result in variable measurements from species to species. For example, many forest-dwelling eagles, including the very large Harpy and Philippine Eagles, have relatively short wingspans, a feature necessary for being able to maneuver in quick, short bursts through dense forested habitats. On the other hand, eagles in the genus Aquila are found almost strictly in open country, are superlative soarers, and have relatively long wings for their size. ATB

Base on the data you have presented it seems that the philippine eagle and the steller's eagle has the highest claim for the largest. the philippine eagle's wingspan can reach up to the maximum 2.5 m (8.2ft) with the largest wing surface area however when u based it in average the steller's eagle exceeds it in size. i have done a lot of research about what is realy the largest. when u have to compare harpy and philippine eagle obviously the philippine eagle is larger in size. at first i have a lot of confusions about this. i went to panama last year and i see harpy eagle in belize, then i went to davao to see phil eagle in real, one conclusion i strongly stand based on what i have seen. the philippine eagle is larger than the harpy I'm blind if i can't say that. i also try to sak some staff and biologist in belized if the harpy eagle is the largest eagle in the world? they have only one majority answer, and this is what they said "No, harpy is not the largest, the largest is the Philippine eagle." Shocking i cannot beleive because I'm a big harpy fan. and besides after visiting Philippines i can say that of all the eagle I have seen in my whole life their Philippine eagle is the most stunning and the most beautiful eagle in the world. very very faciniting bird!!! i can say that its one of God's perfect creation with combined size, beauty, power, and distinction. beleive me try to visit philippines and you will see a lion like bird with blue eyes, and beak great!!!!!!

Contrary to what we used to know Harpy eagle is always listed heavier than the Philippine eagle. The data above shows that on average the Philippine eagle is heavier than Harpy eagle and the Longest and tallest extant eagle while Steller's sea eagle is the heaviest. Both the Steller's sea eagle and Philippine eagle earned two points each on the chart. Thakns for the Info!

You're right the philippine eagle and the steller's eagle has the highest claim for the largest both of them earned two points. Being strongest is not realy my concern it is still a matter of a big debate.
There are three major criteria I based my conclusion to what is realy the largest eagle in the world, Weight, Wingspan, Height. These are the three Eagle that vie for the title. Steller's Eagle, Philippine Eagle, Harpy Eagle.
Weight:
1. Steller's Sea Eagle - Undoubtly the heaviest eagle in the world.
2.Philippine Eagle - Based on the Data shown above, but the maximum reported weight is surpassed by Harpy Eagle, 9Kg vs 8Kg.
3. Harpy Eagle
Height :
1. Philippine Eagle - Surely the Tallest eagle in the World. 112 cm
2. Harpy eagle - 107 cm
3. Steller's Sea eagle - 105 cm
Wingspan :
1. Steller's Sea Eagle - 2.5 m, Second largest wingspan of any eagle
2. Philippine Eagle - 2.5 m maximum reported , Broadest in the world, means largest wing surface area.
3. Harpy Eagle - 2.2 m Maximum reported
In my own personal opinion the Philippine Eagle in the largest eagle in the World. For me weight doesn't really matter to what is the largest you can be smaller but heavier larger but lighter, but this was the rule in zoology heavier means larger. For me its the size that really matters not the weight. since the Philippine eagle is the largest eagle in terms of Physical Dimensions, it's maximum weight can surpassed all other living eagle specie, the point is they are not pets for competition they are being feed in the foundation for reproduction purposes. One of the ornithologist and a good friend of mine said that if you feed the Philippine eagle with abundant food without control it can attain a weight more than 13KG since it has the a bigger dimensions it has a lot of body space for fat storage. The maximum reported in the foundation is 8KG because the food is being controlled.
Now, when in terms of beauty undoubtedly the Philippine eagle is the Most Beautiful Eagle in the World. Even David Attenborough can say that. The Greatest of All Eagles, Its Signature Headdress is a Flamboyant crown that outclasses any other eagle in the world, its dusky blue grey eyes and beak is the only one of its kind in the planet. The color combination of the feathers is so unique and perfect. Its majestic looks gives a lion like appearance making it very distinctive from all other birds in the world.

Surely Philippine eagle is the TALLEST, LONGEST eagle in the world and Largest wing surface area among all the living eagles and with the largest beak which actually rivals the Steller's sea eagles' on the largest beak.

The 'White-Bellied Sea Eagle' should be the third largest - wingspan upto 7ft and length upto 90 cm. Weight is about 4.5 kg, considering its a fishing eagle - I have seen it and its huge. Here is the wikipedia link - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_bellied_Sea_Eagle

Asia-pacific Philippine Eagle under threat Only 400 pairs of the world's largest eagle are left in the wild due to poaching and decimated forest habitats. Last updated: 23 Jan 2014 11:30 Listen to this page using ReadSpeaker www.aljazeera.com/video/asia-pacific/Share article Send Feedback Environmentalists are worried that the Philippine Eagle will soon be extinct. The rarest and biggest eagle in the world needs rainforests and large trees to live in, but almost 90 percent of the country’s forests have disappeared. Poaching also remains rampant as people in the southern Philippines believe eating eagles will guarantee a longer, healthier life. Around 400 pairs of Philippine eagles are left in the wild. Haast's eagle (Harpagornis moorei) was the largest eagle that had ever lived along with Woodward's eagle (Amplibuteo woodwardi) they are about of the same size about 140 cm in lenght. Haast's eagle ...and both are already extinct.
