Leopard Kills and Eat Cheetah

sad pic, hate to see predator killing another predator, but leopards r perhaps one of the worst predators when it comes to killing and eating other predators....lions seldom touch other predators they had killed, in comparison...the chase lasted approx 280m, no idea the incident was in the night or day, perhaps the cheetah was sleeping on the ground or bush, and the leopard surprised the unfortunate victim....cheetahs, unlike leopards, dont have the luxury of sleeping in the safety of trees, and is extremely vulnerable in the night when resting or sleeping...there was a case where a lioness succeeded in ambushing 2 resting cheetahs, killing one of them

According to Dr Gus Mills the leopard chased the cheetah for 180m before it got to it and killed it, our answer to the question is also that the Cheetah must have been injured for the leopard to get it. We have walked to the tree where the Cheetah was in and did take some pics (don't want to post them as it doesn't look very nice), but the cheetah has literally been eaten up by the leopard and it seems that he didn't just kill it because of competition.

this is the 2nd time i have came across leopard killing and eating adult cheetah

I hate leopards.Cheetahs are so cute for the cubs it is so sad for them to die so young.

We'll I don't agree. I like leopards and I hate cheetahs, I mean leopards need food to eat and cheetahs is their food.

Cheetah is not food for leopards, leopard eat their competitors after killing them like most felines do and why do you hate cheetahs? I hate people who hate cheetahs as there is nothing bad about them, i love all animals so i do not hate anything.

is there any evidence that the leopard killed the cheetah? it is possible that the cheetah died due to hunger or something a video could prove that.
